Facility Security Officer
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Top Secret
DESCRIPTION
Hoplite Group is looking for a part-time Facility Security Officer/Contract Program Security Officer and NIST project lead. As the Facility Security Officer (FSO) you will be responsible for managing the Facility Clearance (FCL). If you have a team-oriented style and appetite for growth with a VOSB - this is the job for you. Duties include being the lead for NIST compliance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the development of plans and operations for the interpretation, implementation, inspection, and enforcement of the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)

Responsible for maintaining security program compliance to include managing NISS facility profiles, submitting change conditions packages, and responding to FCL packages.

Familiarity with FOCI restrictions/mitigation agreements and operations under DCSA directed agreements.

Lead HG Self-Inspections to confirm security compliance and work with leadership to determine a mitigation strategy for any instances of non-compliance.

Prepare facility for required annual audits/vulnerability assessments conducted by DCSA, ensuring satisfactory or higher ratings.

Develop/prepare and/or modify as necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and other required security documents.

Maintain company security policies and procedures.

Maintain security education programs to include initial and on-going security training and education briefings and maintain appropriate records.

Investigate/Submit Security Violations and Incident Reports as required by government directives.

Manage all security aspects of classified government contract programs and daily security operations.

Prepare/manage prime and subcontract DD-254s.

Manage all security aspects of classified government contract programs and daily security operations.

Initiate, maintain and terminate personnel security clearances in DISS/NBIS.

Establish and maintain a working relationship with all government agencies as well as filing necessary clearance paperwork for employees, candidates, and consultants.

Perform security pre-screening for subcontractors and consultants.

Support proposals through clearance verifications, team reviews, and writing responses to security related questions and surveys.

Lead and facilitate the NIST project.
REQUIREMENTS

Active Security Clearance required – Top Secret

Ability to manage the company’s DISS (NBIS), NISS, and other systems such as SWFT, SPRS etc.

Strong communication skills (oral and written), customer service and interpersonal skills

Proficient competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs

DoD FOCI-related security experience
