DESCRIPTION

The Hoplite Group is a Veteran Owned Small Business specializing in defense-oriented solutions. We are currently recruiting for a Proposal Manager, with impeccable writing skills and a proven track record in writing and generating new business with Department of Defense (DoD) government contracts. The Proposal Manager will work with company executives to translate technical and management information into clear, concise, accurate, and compliant proposal responses. The ideal candidate has SOCOM experience and is a driven individual looking for a highly rewarding challenge and opportunities to grow within the company. You’ll be involved with the full life-cycle of the bid from its lead generation throughout to proposal drafting, technical reviews, and ultimately help deliver with compelling and compliant bid submission.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Develop and manage proposal outlines/shells, compliance matrixes, and proposal schedule; lead or write sections as appropriate.

• Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and criteria for evaluation.

• Work with capture team to develop and maintain proposal content library and related documentation to include past performances, contract profiles, and other content to support future proposal efforts.

• Must have a documented successful track record of developing and managing winning technical proposal efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS / IDEAL BACKGROUND

• BA/BS degree and 5+ years’ experience in federal government proposal management & writing for DoD (required) or SOCOM requirements (ideal). State Department or USAID proposal experience is welcomed but not required for this position.

• Experience writing competitive winning bids of all types.

• This is a remote position. A candidates’ background and capabilities are far more important than the location, but Tampa, FL or Fayetteville NC are ideal locations.
