SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Secret

STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: Remote with OCONUS travel / engagements 

​

SMEs will have expertise in the required areas below, providing support both remotely and in-country.

 

Functional areas requirements: 

‒      Expertise and experience with Defense finance 

‒      Engagement with academics, think tanks, and policy experts in the field of defense financial management strategy

‒      Experience developing strategies for optimal resource allocation and utilization 

‒      Defense acquisition best practices, benchmarking procedures and processes to international standards

‒      Experience and expertise in DoD Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales 

‒      Defense research & development

‒      Best practices on manpower management including pay & pension of defense personnel

‒      Oversight mechanism on Defense expenditure to establish accountability and cost-effective logistic management in the Defense

 

Additional Requirements:  Previous Interagency/Embassy experience is desired. Previous experience in a security cooperation or advising role is desired. Advanced degree in International Relations (or similar applicable field) is desired.

PART TIME SUPPORT 

Projected OPTEMPO: 15-30 hours monthly support to remote partner engagement. 

Projected in-country OPTEMPO is 1-2 engagements per year starting in April 2023 (Up to 5 days per engagement)
