The Hoplite Group is seeking instructional design personnel for AFSOC at Hurlburt Field, Florida.  The instructional design team creates approximately 3,200 lessons, 130 course and 73 Syllabi of Instruction.   

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Instructional Design Personnel (ISD) will develop and modify courseware for Subject Matter Expert (SME) Training Change Proposals (TCP) or Formal Course Reviews (FCR) and will be proficient in courseware development tools utilized by the supported units including.  ISD Personnel will develop efficient solutions to meet site or MAJCOM specified changes to courseware requirements, systems, and integration requirements, complete an annual audit and deliver a Courseware Audit report. Develop and manage courseware throughout its lifecycle. Develop lesson content on SIPR/NIPR. Maintain training courseware to meet operational unit and training unit needs. ISD support shall include the following: Conduct Training Needs Assessments, identify, develop, and evaluate instructional strategies according to intended behavioral outcomes, design learning objectives and assessment instruments to include quizzes, end of course exams, and meaningful course interactions, create and design course content using eLearning authoring tools, assist with design of the training user interface (UI), integrate graphics, video, audio and animation, provide recommendations for inclusion of VR into select lessons, conduct small group tryouts to collect feedback and integrate it into the next course draft, conduct and document formative evaluation during each stage of the ADDIE process, create summative evaluation documents designed for domain specific criterion-related referenced items and to receive feedback from users. ISD personnel will provide training and guidance for instructors that covers curriculum, learning outcomes, method of delivery, and submittal of TCP, prepare learners with training on new tools (software and hardware), assist with the development, update, and validation of Master Training Task List (MTTL) to ensure all pertinent tasks are identified to meet training objectives, assist with the development, update, and validation of Syllabi of Instruction (SOI), including Course Lesson Maps, front matter, lesson descriptions, and sync with TTL to achieve required proficiency levels, attend FCR events and guide SMEs in the proper methods to analyze materials for updates to MTTL, SOI, and curriculum.  ISD personnel will review regulations, other regulatory guidance, instructions, guides, referenced plans, and drawings are up to date and are linked to the lesson materials on a monthly basis.   

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Four (4) years of instructional design experience and formal training in instructional design and/or adult learning.

Must have experience with Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, and HTML5.

basic knowledge of Microsoft Visio Professional, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

 

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and understanding of copyright and reproduction restrictions.

Background in Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) and SCORM .

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

Must have at least a minimum of a Secret Clearance.

 

EDUCATION:

BS/BA or higher in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or related field.

 

OTHER:

Travel may be required, CONUS/OCONUS. 

Normal Duty Hours – Monday-Friday, 0730-1630.

Mission may require occasional extended shifts or weekend work.
