The Hoplite Group is seeking instructional media design personnel for AFSOC at Hurlburt Field, Florida.  The instructional media design team supports the creation of approximately 3,200 lessons, 130 course and 73 Syllabi of Instruction utilizing government provided systems/software, in accordance with local OIs. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Instructional Media Design personnel will develop and modify a full range of digital media to include graphics, video, emulators, animations, and virtual reality environments based upon inputs from Subject Matter Expert (SME) Training Change Proposals (TCP) and Formal Course Reviews (FCR). Instructional Media Design support shall include, producing Digital Media to include working with SMEs and Instructional Designers (ID) to establish priorities and identify student training needs prior to graphic art production, develop and modify animations, graphics, video, emulators, and virtual reality, program animations and interactive content using HTML5 and JavaScript.  IMD personnel will create and edit photographs and video of airframe systems for inclusion in courseware, support courseware team with IT issues (hardware, software, and network), assist the Learning Management System (LMS) administrator with courseware issues (xml, compression), develop Virtual Reality (VR) instructional content to include creating assets for Unity3D VR using Autodesk Entertainment Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud. IMD personnel should apply artistic principles to visual elements, work with SMEs to determine visual accuracy and functionality of modeled equipment, communicate with programmers to develop assets for C# code assignment that follow production naming standards, develop presentation techniques to address instructional and interactive needs required to teach students within the VR environment and observe user interactions within the VR environment and suggest alternate approaches that benefit the user experience.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Four (4) years of graphic design experience. Four (4) years of experience with Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoDesk Entertainment Creation Suite, HTML5, Adobe Creative Suite, Snagit, Zbrush, Unity 5.x Pro, Algorithmic Bitmap2Material 3 Pro, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Otoy Octane Render/3ds Max, Headus UVLayout, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Visio Professional. Experience with VR content development.

 

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Background in Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) and SCORM.

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

Must have at least a minimum of a Secret Clearance.

 

EDUCATION:

BS/BA or higher in related field of study

 

OTHER:

Travel may be required, CONUS/OCONUS. 

Normal Duty Hours – Monday-Friday, 0730-1630.

Mission may require occasional extended shifts or weekend work.

Alternative Work Location/Telework may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
